Justine has been in the Cosmetology profession since 2004. Through her dedication, hard work, and extensive training she has evolved into a master hair stylist.
Established in 2010, Justine opened her first location on Main Street in Medford – Loxx by Justine Inc. This has been a great accomplishment for Justine. Her dream was to have a welcoming, happy, judgement free salon where clients and staff would feel comfortable. Even with the salon only being 600 square feet, it always radiated a sense of a home-like atmosphere. A salon where “everyone knows your name”. After 5 years in this location, Justine started searching for a second salon. Her dreams were to broaden her demographic of clients, to hire more talented staff, and to make Loxx by Justine a household name. In the fall of 2015, Justine found her second location, residing in the town of Stoneham. With the salon being more than double the size of Medford, she hoped this would be a great opportunity to grow her business. Unfortunately, in September of 2018, Justine came to the tough realization that bigger is not always better.
Justine made the decision to rent a space at The Beauty Cafe in downtown Melrose. Justine’s passion for hair got lost in the mix of trying to run a successful business and it became too overwhelming. Thankfully, The Beauty Cafe has been a breath of fresh air. Justine can now focus on what she loves the most – making her clientele smile every day!
Justine now has over 15 years of experience in the industry. She has been hailed for her coloring techniques, renowned advancements in hair care and reliance on the best products in the industry. You will enjoy an unprecedented level of personalized attention while feeling completely at home in a judgement free environment.
